My story
I’m a Senior at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill majoring in Journalism and Political Science with a minor in Spanish.
I have been ever fascinated by two things: fashion and New York City. The two share important characteristics that make them unique to everything else in the world. They’re ever evolving, beautifully enigmatic, and impossibly chic. A match made in heaven, especially for me.
When I think of the world I want to live in, that I want to make my mark on, it’s that one. I am determined to find myself in the pages of Vogue as an impactful name in fashion. I want to have my picture hung in Diane von Furstenberg as a game changer. When industry greats gather at Forces of Fashion, I will be among the list of those they recognize.
In all of my roles in college and during class, I have examined data and public opinion, positioning myself to be able to interpret trends and look ahead into the future. Upon graduation, I hope to be working in house at a fashion company doing just that: looking towards the future.
I am happiest moving forward. Challenging myself to be better and to think further ahead than before.
