This shoot, done for Camera Obscura, focused on the idea of where home is, especially for those who don’t have a definitive location.
A major focus of the shoot were the colors, which came through in both styling and direction. The red gave a sense of comfort – symbolizing love and passion.
My favorite line the day of this shoot was “be friends, put your hands on each other.” The words out of context got more suggestive, but the result was fantastic. There was a feeling a connectivity between each of the four women, none of whom were friends outside of the confines of this shoot.
